19.31 USD HourlyThe Night Auditor provides excellent overnight service at the hotel front desk, performing all relevant night audit functions including cash reports, reconciliation, verifying accuracy of credit cards, bookkeeping, end of day accounting duties for the hotel. This position reports to the Front Desk Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Verify readings, over-rings, credit cards, checks, guest folios, audit daily guest ledger of the hotel to verify and balance entries. Investigate and correct any discrepancies.
Act as front desk attendant during the night hours, register and assign rooms to guests, provide quote for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible, and ensure guests are satisfied with service requests.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently , or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-30 lbs. frequently , and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
