Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Studio Manager to lead our Orangetheory fitness studio with passion and precision. Responsibilities
- Oversee all studio operations, including scheduling, member engagement, and facility maintenance to ensure a smooth daily workflow.
- Lead and motivate a team of trainers and staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage member relations by providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries promptly, and resolving concerns with professionalism.
- Handle administrative duties such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management of fitness equipment and retail products, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote studio programs, special events, and membership drives that boost community engagement and retention.
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets through retail sales, membership growth, and promotional activities.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety standards while ensuring the studio remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all members.
Skills
- Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in a retail or fitness environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and connect with diverse clientele; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proven experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions.
- Proficiency in operational management tasks such as budgeting, inventory control, cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and POS systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management including pricing strategies, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and sales management.
- Skilled in training & development techniques to enhance team performance and customer service excellence.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in scheduling, stock management, and administrative duties.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as sales tracking, inventory turnover rates, and financial reporting; experience in shift management is preferred.
