Responsibilities
- Supervise nightly operations, ensuring all departments run efficiently and guest needs are met promptly.
- Lead and motivate staff members through effective team management and supervision, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee guest services to ensure high levels of satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Manage shift responsibilities including cash handling, report writing, and maintaining accurate logs of incidents or operational activities.
- Coordinate with other departments such as security, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery during night hours.
- Enforce safety protocols and security procedures to safeguard guests, staff, and property throughout the shift.
- Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to uphold high standards of service excellence.
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience in hospitality, resort, or restaurant environments with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive experience in staff supervision, team management, and shift management within a customer-focused setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong report writing skills for incident documentation and shift reports.
- Technical proficiency in point-of-sale systems, security equipment, and general restaurant or hospitality technology.
- Background in events management is advantageous for coordinating late-night functions or special occasions.
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling, managing guest services, and supervising staff during night shifts.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within hospitality or resort settings is highly desirable.
