Credit Repair Analyst — Job OverviewPosition Summary
The Credit Repair Analyst is responsible for reviewing clients’ credit reports, identifying inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or potentially disputable information, and helping clients understand the steps being taken to improve their credit profile. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze clients’ credit reports from all three major credit bureaus.
- Identify inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or questionable information appearing on credit reports.
- Research accounts and credit-report information to determine appropriate dispute or correction strategies.
- Prepare and submit accurate credit-report disputes and supporting documentation when appropriate.
- Track disputes, bureau responses, deadlines, and client progress.
- Communicate with clients regarding their credit reports, dispute status, requested documentation, and next steps.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
- Follow up with credit bureaus and other relevant parties regarding unresolved issues.
- Review updated credit reports to determine whether disputed information was corrected, verified, or remains unresolved.
- Provide clients with general guidance on responsible credit-management practices.
- Monitor client accounts and ensure tasks are completed within company timelines.
- Protect confidential client information and follow company privacy and compliance procedures.
- Provide professional and timely customer service throughout the client relationship.
Client Interaction
The analyst will regularly communicate with clients by phone, text, email, or other approved communication channels. They should be able to explain credit-report information in a simple, professional manner and keep clients informed about the status of their account.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable reviewing detailed financial and credit information.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Customer-service experience preferred.
- Previous experience with credit reports, credit repair, lending, collections, banking, or financial services is preferred but not required.

Success in this position is measured by accurate report analysis, timely completion of client tasks, quality client communication, proper documentation, compliance with applicable laws and company procedures, and overall client experience.
Pay: $12.00 per hour
