The Repair Coordinator oversees all aspects of Menominee River Habitat for Humanity’s home repair program. The program currently includes critical home repairs and accessibility modifications that help community members remain safely in their homes.
The repair coordinator is responsible for establishing and achieving annual program goals, coordinating volunteers and contractors, and managing relationships with homeowners, community partners, and funding organizations. This position also ensures compliance with grant requirements, promotes safe work practices, and identifies opportunities to strengthen and expand the program's impact.

Responsibilities: Program Management (70%)
The repair coordinator is responsible for evaluating all program applications, conducting onsite assessments, matching qualified participants with appropriate funding sources, and scheduling projects with internal staff or outside contractors. All repair projects must meet funding requirements and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
- Evaluate application and income information to determine program eligibility.
- Coordinate or conduct home assessments for program suitability, feasibility, and documentation of project scope.
- Refine and continuously improve the program participant experience from initial inquiry through completion of the program.
- Provide clear, timely, and dignified communications to program participants throughout the duration of their repair project to ensure compassion and respect.
- Identify and assign appropriate staff or contractors to all projects, track progress, and collect and process all close-out documentation requirements.
- Track loan repayments and communicate delinquencies in a timely matter with partner families so that they continue repayments.
Special Projects (15%)
The Repair Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director, under the guidance of the Board of Directors, to design and implement an Aging in Place Program.
Direction and Resources (10%)
The repair coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and Construction Manager to strategically align service offerings with community needs and resource needs.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid Michigan or Wisconsin driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Two years of experience in customer service, program management, construction coordination, or a related field preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
