Position Summary
The Assistant Manager is a key member of the leadership team and partners with the Studio Manager to drive studio performance, develop Wellness Educators, and deliver an exceptional member experience. This role is responsible for leading daily operations, coaching the team to achieve sales and membership goals, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining Restore Hyper Wellness standards. The Assistant Manager serves as the Manager on Duty when the Studio Manager is unavailable and helps create a culture centered on accountability, wellness, and exceptional service.
Core ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead by example by demonstrating Restore's core values and commitment to exceptional member care.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Studio Manager.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Wellness Educators to improve performance, confidence, and service knowledge.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and continuous development of new team members.
- Delegate daily responsibilities while ensuring all operational tasks are completed.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
- Escalate Employee/Team concerns to Studio Manager.
Sales & Membership Performance
- Drive membership sales and recurring revenue by coaching the team on Restore's sales process.
- Lead by example in converting First-Time Visitors into members.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
- Membership Sales
- First-Time Visitor Conversion
- Average Ticket Value
- Member Retention
- Service Utilization
- Identify opportunities to improve studio performance
- Help to create and implement action plans.
- Support local marketing initiatives, community partnerships, and studio events.
- Encourage member engagement through personalized wellness recommendations and follow-up.
Operations & Studio Management
- Ensure all Restore Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Studio Manager for ordering.
- Ensure therapy rooms, equipment, and lounge areas meet Restore cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist with facility maintenance requests when necessary.
- Support implementation of new operational initiatives and corporate procedures.
Member Experience
- Deliver an outstanding experience to every guest and member.
- Resolve member concerns promptly, professionally, and with empathy.
- Process membership freezes, cancellations, upgrades, downgrades, and account updates.
- Assist members in selecting therapies that align with their wellness goals.
- Ensure appointments are managed efficiently while minimizing wait times.
- Build long-term relationships that increase member satisfaction and retention.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with tracking cancellations and freezes on appropriate spreadsheets
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage based on studio needs.
- Maintain member outreach initiatives, including:
- First-Time Visitor follow-up
- Member outreach
- Win-back opportunities
- ShopLaunch Opportunities and Leads
- Assist with reporting and tracking studio KPIs.
- Support compliance with Restore policies and franchise standards.
Clinical & Service Excellence
- Ensure Wellness Educators maintain proper knowledge of all therapies, including:
- Cryotherapy
- Red Light Therapy
- Infrared Sauna
- Compression Therapy
- IV Drip Therapy
- Intramuscular (IM) Shots
- Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Cryoskin
- HydraFacial
- Circadia Facials
- Promote safe operation of all therapies while ensuring adherence to company protocols.
- Reinforce education-first conversations that help members understand the benefits of Restore services.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience in wellness, fitness, healthcare, hospitality, or retail.
- Demonstrated success leading sales-focused teams.
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze business performance and develop action plans.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning and discussing health and wellness services.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and point-of-sale software.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
