What You’ll Be Doing:
As an RRT at WakeMed North, you’ll evaluate, treat, and manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients with respiratory illnesses and cardiopulmonary disorders across a variety of clinical settings. You’ll play a key role in improving patient outcomes by:

Performing comprehensive respiratory assessments and diagnostic procedures

Delivering all respiratory care treatments as ordered, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway management

Evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

Educating patients and families to support understanding and continuity of care

Responding to emergency situations and providing life‑saving respiratory support
-
Documenting care in the electronic medical record with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism
