Position Summary
We are currently hiring two Mobile Diesel/Automotive Technicians that has chassis and trailer experience to join our field team. You’ll work independently using a fully equipped company service truck to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs at the customer’s location. This position requires expertise in diesel, automotive, and chassis/trailer systems.
Vehicles Serviced
- Medium-duty vans (Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter)
- Box trucks and utility vehicles (Isuzu, Hino, Chevy Express)
- Heavy-duty trucks (Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Mack, Volvo)
- School buses, shuttle buses, and yard goats
- Chassis, trailers, and yard equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs: brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, cooling systems, and powertrain
- Conduct preventive maintenance, DOT/CHP BIT inspections, and CARB HD I/M compliance testing
- Perform chassis/trailer repairs and light welding/fabrication as needed
- Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Communicate repair findings and time estimates to dispatch and clients
- Use iPhone and Fullbay to document work, track time, and upload job photos
- Maintain a clean, organized, and job-ready service truck
- Follow OSHA, DOT, EPA, and company safety protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in diesel, automotive, or trailer repair
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Comfortable using Apple devices and Fullbay or similar platforms
- A/C repair and welding experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
- Ability to self-manage in the field

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
