Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
Monitor production performance and ensure adherence to operating procedures.
Verify raw material usage, production yields, and packaging consumption.
Ensure compliance with GMPs and food safety requirements.
Conduct inspections and audits to address compliance concerns.
Schedule employees and ensure adequate shift coverage.
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
