United Therapy Services has an immediate opening for a Physical Therapist Assistant in the home health setting. We have multiple areas available throughout the Houston Area. This position requires a self-motivator with the ability to problem solve and critically think independently of others. The United Therapy Service team has over 80 therapists and is the largest Physical therapy based group in Southeast Texas.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Supervision: 1-2 PT
Start Date: Immediate
Expected Caseload: 20+ visits per week

Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to enhance recovery.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including outpatient clinics and skilled nursing facilities.
Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
- Experience in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities
- Familiarity with discharge planning and care plans
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy and experience with orthopedics and geriatrics
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $74,100.00 - $114,400.00 per year
