Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services, managing the household to create a welcoming environment for owners and guests alike. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a pristine, organized, and inviting atmosphere that exceeds expectations every day.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all areas
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to ensure optimal results
- Manage cleaning duties to prevent injuries to home, yourself and others
- Communicate professionally with owner or property manager to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and outdoor areas when applicable
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow safety protocols related to house keeping to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in high-end residential housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, floors, tiles, marble and upholstery
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, proper wood floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely while adhering to sanitation procedures
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina for general housekeeping duties
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with owners, guests and residents
- Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus but not required
- Prior experience with high-end residential housekeeping and management is advantageous
