Job Summary
We are currently seeking dependable and compassionate persons to join our team as Direct Care Aide Assistants. This position works alongside our direct care staff, providing support where needed while primarily focusing on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
- Assisting direct care staff with daily tasks as needed.
- Performing housekeeping duties; cleaning resident rooms and common areas, laundry, before and after meals etc.
- Help maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Support a positive and respectful atmosphere for both residents and staff.
- Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring dietary needs are adhered to in accordance with care plans.
- Support residents’ participation in community outings or transportation needs when applicable.
- Implement behavior management techniques for residents with dementia or developmental disabilities to promote calmness and cooperation.
Qualifications:
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Compassionate and respectful toward residents and other team members
- Ability to multitask and take initiative
- Previous caregiving or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
