We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Project Management to lead our Renovation Team/SWAT and to work closely with the VP of Maintenance and Renovations and Maintenance. This pivotal role involves assisting with overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-leading software tools used such as: Microsoft Office Suite, Construction/Project Management Software, etc. Knowledge and experience of HUD Replacement Draw submissions and guidelines, and also, knowledge and previous use of construction documents, contracts, and AIA billing formats. (G702/G703). Experience with property management and working on-site.
Some responsibilities -
- Lead the development of comprehensive project schedules using scheduling tools to ensure all phases are aligned with project goals.
- Oversee project coordination efforts across multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain seamless communication and workflow.
- Manage construction estimating processes to prepare accurate budgets and cost forecasts.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety, quality control, and adherence to schedules; provide guidance based on site experience.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare quarterly reports on renovaton progress and financial performance.
- Renovation Payroll and Invoicing
Experience, Education and Licensing requirements:
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in project scheduling.
- Proficiency with project management and budgeting software ( AppFolio, MS Project, Yardi, Procore, Excel)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction/Project Management preferred.
- Valid Driver's License/Clear Motor Vehicle report and ability to travel as needed.
