Summary:
FABCO is full-service steel fabricator, looking for a Structural Steel Drafter to join our fast-growing team in Woodburn, Oregon. Our state-of-the-art facility, combined with our highly skilled team and technological capabilities, allows us to perform a wide range of projects, from small to large. Candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and have a knowledge of structural steel detailing, including working knowledge of steel material, bills of material and cut lists.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate 3D models from provided drawings or other information
- Generate and revise shop drawings for submittals with accurate bills of material
- Generate and revise fabrication drawings for construction with accurate bills of material and cut lists
- Printing and distributing shop and fabrication drawings
- Schedule and assess workload to meet required deadlines
- Generate, check, and post CNC files to plasma and bending machines
Requirements
- Ability to read, understand and interpret structural steel designs
- Good working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, procedures, and shop drawings
- Possess time-management skills
- Have strong technical capacity
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be detailed-oriented and thorough
- Must be able to work in Woodburn, OR office
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have 2 years of related experience or college degree in related field
- SolidWorks experience preferred
