Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as JarTREK, processing cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, including banquet or catering events if applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, preferably with fine dining or upscale settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Experience with beer brewing or craft beer is a plus; catering or banquet experience is desirable but not required.
