Stewart Painting Inc is seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpentry Apprentice to join our Cape Cod team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in carpentry and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals. As an apprentice, you will assist with various carpentry tasks, learn essential trade skills, and contribute to high-quality residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist experienced carpenters with framing, flooring, siding, roofing, and interior finishing work.

Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints and specifications.

Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites.

Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and secure work environment.

Learn and apply proper carpentry techniques under the supervision of journeymen and master carpenters.

Support the team with other duties as needed to ensure project success.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience in construction or carpentry is a plus but not required.

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Physically able to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of tools and measurements is beneficial.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
