Duties
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Supervise and motivate team members, including training new staff and providing ongoing development opportunities
- Manage food preparation and presentation to meet high standards of freshness and taste
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS , including cash handling and reconciliation
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food safety compliance in line with health regulations
- Assist in kitchen management tasks like food production, food handling, and ensuring efficient food service delivery
- Support customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and development
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a hospitality-focused environment
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality management is highly desirable
