RN Responsibilities
- Provide care in the school health office
- Assess and treat student illnesses and injuries
- Administer medications Manage chronic medical conditions
- Maintain health documentation
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff
- Provide one-to-one nursing care for medically fragile students
LPN Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one nursing care for medically fragile students
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor students throughout the school day
- Support students during transportation when required
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN or LPN License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Physical completed within the last 12 months
- Current PPD documentation
- MMR documentation
- Ability to complete NYC Department of Education fingerprinting (required)
