Your objective will be to define, establish and implement quality assurance practices and procedures. You will work closely with various software development project managers and development teams to coordinate testing efforts, prepare testing plans, and develop best practices that complement existing development methodologies and practices. The position also will serve as the central point for compiling and reporting overall quality metrics for the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Becoming an expert in Alliance Data Software products and practices
Assist and advise project managers with creation and execution of software test plans
Create common best practices and educate development staff on their use
Create standard look and feel for all testing documentation and deliverables
Interact with both business and technical teams to develop testing documentation
Create regression test plans for various software products
Develop and keep up to date supporting documentation for product QA
Assist with documenting and new software products
Establish QA metrics for software development and provide reporting to management

Minimum of 3 years experience in Software Quality Assurance

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel etc)
Must have a working knowledge of SQL
Functional knowledge of Oil & Gas and/or Financial Accounting is a strong plus
