Hi, I'm Adam Robin.
I'm a PT, and I own Southern Physical Therapy Clinic. I'm looking for a pediatric speech therapist to join us in Wiggins, and I want to be honest with you about why I'm writing this the way I am.
I've watched too many great SLPs get worn down by their first or second job. You got into this for the moment a kid says the word they could never say, and the look on their parent's face when it happens. Then the job buries you. I didn't want to build another one of those.
So here is what this actually is.
It's a pediatric-first role. Kids are the work. Adult cases are optional and bounded, so you are never the catch-all. The caseload is full but sane, built so you actually have time for each child instead of racing a clock. Our documentation is AI-assisted, which means you walk out most days with your notes already done and your evenings back.
If you're newer, you get real mentorship. Weekly at first, then biweekly, then monthly, with senior clinicians who actually talk cases through with you and help you become the confident, independent clinician you trained to be. If you're seasoned, you get autonomy, respect, and a real path to lead.
And it's built around your life. Full-time, part-time, or a four-day week, whatever fits. Pay goes up to $34.27 an hour plus performance bonuses, and we build from there if you bring experience. If you need to relocate, we help. And everything I just promised, your caseload, your schedule, your support, goes in writing before you start, and we sit down and revisit it with you at 90 days. You are not betting your year on a good interview.
Here's the part I care about most. Wiggins is rural South Mississippi, about 45 minutes up from the Coast. Kids here wait months just to be understood, not because anyone stopped caring, but because there simply aren't enough of us. If you have ever wanted your work to truly matter, to be the reason a family doesn't have to drive two hours so their child can learn to talk, this is that.
I'm hoping to hear from one of two people. Someone fresh out of their clinical fellowship who wants to grow somewhere that actually invests in them. Or an experienced SLP who wants to make a real difference on terms that finally fit their life. You'll need your master's in speech-language pathology and your CCC, or to be clinical-fellowship eligible, plus a Mississippi license or the ability to get one. New grads and clinical fellows are genuinely welcome here, not just tolerated.
