Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Part Time General Cleaner with EMS (Executive Management Services, Inc.) experience to join our team in Springfield, MO 65807. This dynamic role combines essential cleaning responsibilities with the ability to provide emergency support when needed. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities while being prepared to assist in emergency situations. Monday-Friday / 10am-3pm / $15 per hour
Duties
- Recycling cardboard and plastic
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Utilize janitorial and custodial skills to ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks and facilities maintenance as needed to support overall site operations
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and disposal of waste materials
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services, preferably within commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance tasks
- Previous porter experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
