Overview:
We seek a dedicated and compassionate part-time speech therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and support our participants across the lifespan. The Neurological Rehabilitation Adult Day Program (NRADP) is a unique adult day program that services individuals with neurological injuries or disorders. The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program services individuals from 18 months to adulthood with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder or other intellectual/developmental disabilities. We strive to support all physical, mental, and social goals with the participants and their caregivers to improve functionality and gain independence to improve overall quality of life. - Develop clinical care skills in a neurological day program and a behavioral therapy clinic, collaborating with Occupational, Physical, and Behavioral Therapy and Nursing team members
- Focus on supporting the whole person with individualized and integrative care

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to screen and evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans based on participant evaluations
- Provide direct therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language skills, communication effectiveness, feeding, and swallowing
- Educate participants and their families on communication strategies and techniques for improvement, including providing resources on effective methods to integrate speech therapy goals into different environments
- Participate in early intervention service meetings, case manager meetings, and other family service planning meetings as applicable
- Engage with other therapists, rehab aids, and caregivers across settings as applicable
- Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize clinical success
- Maintain accurate documentation of participant assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum Required Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Required Licensure/Certification: Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Therapy is required, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Willing and available to work within the hours of 9 am - 2 pm, days Monday-Friday to work with the participants in the day program and clinic settings
- Strong participant assessment and care skills are necessary for effective therapy delivery, including observing participant conditions or changes in conditions
- Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively in a team environment with participants, caregivers, and multidisciplinary staff
- Must be able to pass all local, state, and federal background checks
Benefits Offered:
This part-time position does not qualify for healthcare benefits; however, it would be eligible for coverage under workman’s compensation and, after 1000 hours and 12 months, would be eligible to participate in the company’s 401 (k) plan. Physical requirements of this position:
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force pushing wheelchair and/or loading and unloading vehicle. Frequent bending, squatting, and sitting on the floor or in small chairs. Exposure to sensory-rich therapy environments including swings, music, and other therapy equipment such as play doh, foam, etc.

Pay: $37.95 - $41.85 per hour
