Duties
- Prepare and assemble pizza quickly and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones to ensure food safety compliance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change or totals
- Assist with cleaning, and restocking supplies to keep the restaurant inviting and organized
- Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards in a quick service environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS
- Experience in customer service roles involving serving or cashiering enhances your ability to connect with guests effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math are important for accuracy in daily operations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and food industry standards is highly valued
- Prior kitchen or café experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new skills is key
