Overview
Sweet Community Services are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in a residential setting. The setting is in a residential home, with around the clock care. First, second, and third shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication pass.
- Implement care plans and provide emotional support
- Engage individuals in social activities and recreational programs
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the individuals under your care
Experience
- Experience in patient care or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to follow care plans effectively
- Experience with intellectuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Physical ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
