Position Overview
The Core Analyst I will perform laboratory testing focused on petrophysical work, rock mechanics, and flow studies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with scientific equipment, analyzing data, and collaborating within a technical team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and record operating data from laboratory equipment

Utilize flow pumps, pressure gauges, balances, resistivity monitors, and laboratory instruments

Interpret scientific and geological data with accuracy

Maintain laboratory notebooks and technical documentation

Communicate testing results clearly with supervisors and clients

Support sample management and technical report writing

Assist with field work and material collection when required

Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related science preferred

Strong mechanical and logical reasoning skills

Comfortable working in a laboratory environment

Basic understanding of scientific computations and data analysis

Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
