Call Center Representative / Taxi Dispatcher (Bilingual)
Miami Yellow Cab is seeking dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our dispatch team. As one of South Florida's longest-serving transportation companies, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing reliable transportation throughout Miami-Dade County.
We are looking for individuals who are professional, work well under pressure, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced position where every call matters, and your ability to stay organized and communicate effectively makes a difference.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Dispatch drivers efficiently using our computerized dispatch system.
- Communicate with drivers regarding trip assignments and updates.
- Assist customers with ride requests, questions, and concerns.
- Enter accurate trip information while maintaining attention to detail.
- Monitor ride activity to ensure timely service.
- Work closely with fellow dispatchers to keep operations running smoothly throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Previous dispatch, call center, customer service, or transportation experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals with the right attitude.
Schedule
Our dispatch center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Overnight shifts
- Weekends
- Holidays
