American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification for a 13-week travel assignment in California.

OB Imaging unit focused on maternal fetal medicine and high-risk OB cases
-
Scope includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging, fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, amniotic fluid index, umbilical cord Doppler, placenta previa, and multiple pregnancy cases

Additional imaging includes abdominal, small parts, portables, and breast ultrasound

Works with GE ultrasound equipment; Epic EMR experience preferred

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On-call is required for this position

Local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist; first-time travelers will not be considered

ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required; all certifications must be AHA or ARC
-
Prior travel experience required

CA state license required if applicable

Proficiency in OB/GYN sonography including fetal anatomy, Doppler studies, and high-risk OB imaging

Experience with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures preferred

2 supervisory references obtained within the last year required for consideration

7-year work history verification required

Perform OB and maternal fetal ultrasound exams including fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, Doppler studies, and small parts imaging

Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required; management or lead experience is a plus

Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested per contract; only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract

Holidays observed include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; holiday periods begin at 7:00 PM the evening before and end at 7:00 AM the day after
