Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Large Format Operator to join our vibrant production team. Duties
- Operate large-format printers, ensuring optimal print quality and efficient production workflows (HP R1000 , ROLAND Printers, COLEX CNC, LAGUNA Laser)
- Interpret production documents accurately to set up printing jobs, including layout design and color specifications
- Manage color calibration and color management processes to achieve consistent, vibrant results across various media
- Perform routine mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on industrial equipment such as flexo presses, CNC machines, and screen printing setups
- Execute cutting, paper binding, and finishing tasks to prepare final products for delivery
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing
- Maintain safety standards by properly handling industrial equipment like forklifts and ensuring workspace cleanliness
- Interpret manufacturing specifications to optimize print output while minimizing waste and downtime
Experience
- Proven experience operating large-format printers or similar industrial printing equipment in a manufacturing or print shop setting
- Strong knowledge of color management techniques, prepress processes, and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on complex printing machinery
- Familiarity with digital printing technologies, CNC machining, flexo presses, and screen printing methods
- Understanding of layout design principles, typography, and print advertising requirements
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to production workflows and machine operation protocols
- Experience with quality control procedures to ensure high standards in finished products
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial equipment operation including forklift handling and machining tools
