DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
CLIENT SUPPORT/ADVOCACY:
o Work directly with clients including victims of family violence, abuse, neglect.
o Provide supervision of visitations & exchanges between children and parents/guardians in the facility and offsite.
o Transport children and visiting parents to and from the visitation.
o Provide a neutral environment for visits and exchanges through courteous, respectful treatment of clients.
o Recognize and deal with crisis situations in a calm manner.
o Includes intervention during a visit if a parent is discussing adult issues or harm (physical and/or emotional) is being done to the child(ren).
o Document observations specific to services provided by Kids Konnection.
o Provide court testimony if requested.
TEAM MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
o Perform other duties as assigned by the Visitation Coordinator and/or Assistant Coordinator.
o Adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by Safe Harbor
o Articulate and adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by Safe Harbor and Kids Konnection

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
