Part-Time Administrative Office Assistant
Kids Gym is seeking an experienced, organized, and friendly part-time Office Assistant to join our Administrative Team. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working with children and families and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires prior experience in an office administrative, receptionist, front desk, school office, medical office, or similar professional office environment. PLEASE NOTE: only applicants who answer all screening questions will be considered.
Hours
September – June
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
June – August
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and office tasks
- Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and by email
- Process enrollments, class transfers, and withdrawals
- Schedule make-up classes and manage class waitlists
- Accept and process payments
- Provide accurate information regarding programs, schedules, and policies
- Maintain knowledge of all gymnastics and recreational programs
- Assist with marketing projects, flyers, and social media content as needed
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 2 years of administrative, receptionist, front desk, or office assistant experience in a professional office setting.
- Required: Experience performing office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, processing payments, data entry, and customer communications.
- Strong computer skills, including email, Google Docs, and online systems
- Experience with Canva, PosterMyWall, or other graphic design platforms preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Ability to work independently
- Gymnastics, sports, or youth program experience is an asset but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation
- Part-Time Position
- $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
