We are seeking a hands-on Shipping Supervisor to oversee daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is both supervisory and working, supporting day-to-day operations including material handling, kitting, and shipment preparation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations for incoming and outgoing materials
- Supervise and support shipping and receiving personnel and daily workflow
- Pick parts and components from inventory and prepare them for shipment by assembling items into packaging/boxes
- Perform and support picking and kitting of components for assembly work orders
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper documentation
- Coordinate with freight carriers and support resolution of shipping discrepancies or issues
- Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and support ERP system accuracy
- Maintain organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and stockroom areas
- Support continuous improvement in material flow, inventory control, and shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience with ERP systems and shipping software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
