Salemhaven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to lead the daily financial operations of our skilled nursing facility. If you have a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid billing, revenue cycle management, and skilled nursing operations, we’d love to hear from you.
As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and business office staff while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. What You’ll Do
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Office.
· Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and third-party billing and collections.
· Monitor accounts receivable and maximize cash flow through timely billing and collections.
· Ensure accurate month-end financial reporting and reconciliation.
· Resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues.
· Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations.
· Supervise and support Business Office and Reception staff.
· Review financial reports and communicate trends and concerns to leadership.
· Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
· Foster positive relationships with residents, families, insurance providers, and government agencies.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
· Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Minimum of 3 years of Business Office Manager experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
· Minimum of 3 years of Medicare and Medicaid billing experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of third-party billing and collections experience.
· Experience using PointClickCare (PCC).
· Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and accounts receivable.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
· Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare business office.
· Accounting and financial reporting experience.
