PurposeThe Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as the primary HR resource for employees and managers across the United States. This role is responsible for U.S. payroll administration, talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding and offboarding coordination, HR compliance, and workforce support activities. This position helps ensure consistent HR service delivery, positive employee experience, and compliance with federal and state employment regulations. The role also provides backup support for benefits, leave administration, HR systems, and employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as the primary owner of U.S. payroll administration, ensuring payroll accuracy, timely processing, payroll tax compliance, audit readiness, regulatory reporting, and resolution of payroll-related issues.
2. Lead onboarding and offboarding activities in collaboration with department leadership, ensuring smooth employee experience and compliance with company requirements.
3. Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for U.S.-based positions, including workforce planning support, candidate selection, and hiring manager partnership.
4. Lead and partner with employee engagement teams to plan, promote, and support employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and culture-building initiatives that strengthen employee connection and organizational culture.
5. Provide support and backup coverage for benefits administration, leave management, UKG Ready support, and employee inquiries to ensure operational continuity.
6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, recordkeeping requirements, and HR audit activities.
7. Partner with HR leadership to provide guidance to U.S.-based employees and managers regarding HR policies, employment practices, workplace concerns, and HR-related matters.
8. Maintain HR reporting and workforce data to support business and operational decisions.
9. Conduct employee relations investigations, support conflict resolution, and partner with managers on performance management, coaching, corrective actions, and employee development.
10. Partner with the Global HR team to facilitate global HR initiatives and drive continuous improvement of HR programs, systems, and processes.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist, HR Operations, or similar HR role.
· Experience processing payroll and working with HRIS systems.
· Experience supporting multi-state U.S. workforces.
· Experience supporting the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
· Working knowledge of payroll administration, timekeeping, and HR processes.
· Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with employees, managers, and HR team members across multiple regions and cultures.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Equipment/Software Utilized
· Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Excel for payroll administration, reporting, and data analysis.
· Microsoft 365
· Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.
