Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks.
- Manage customer transactions accurately by processing cash, credit card payments, and handling change with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace by following food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Restock supplies, organize workstations, and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards for a safe environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, fast-food or quick-service restaurant environments preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle busy periods calmly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail transactions, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
