For nearly 38 years, Arborland Montessori has been a trusted part of the community, providing a warm, caring, and academically enriching environment for children. We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher or Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team and help create a safe, engaging classroom where children can grow in confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, loving, and respectful environment for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning activities
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Assist with daily care routines, including toileting, handwashing, meals, and rest time
- Develop independence using Montessori principles
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Observe children's development and communicate professionally with the teaching team
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Follow all licensing regulations and school policies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
- Currently enrolled in an additional 6 ECE units
- At least one completed or currently enrolled course must be an Infant/Toddler class
- Experience working with toddlers is preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to successfully pass all required background clearances

Montessori experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train candidates who have a passion for working with young children and a desire to learn the Montessori philosophy.
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
