What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead Automation Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and deliver industrial automation and control systems across a variety of projects and industries. You’ll support work from early design through commissioning, helping ensure systems are built thoughtfully, function reliably, and meet project requirements.
Your day-to-day work will be a blend of hands-on engineering and technical leadership. You could develop PLC code on platforms such as Rockwell and Siemens, design and configure HMI and SCADA systems using tools like Ignition or Wonderware, and review control panel designs and vendor submittals. You’ll also support system integration, troubleshoot issues during testing and startup, and help drive projects to successful completion.
In this role, you’ll help guide project execution by working closely with project managers, junior engineers, and client stakeholders. You’ll provide technical direction, review deliverables, identify risks or gaps early, and help the team make sound engineering decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
