Overview
Neville Dental Care is a modern, private dental practice equipped with the latest technology and committed to providing exceptional care in a compassionate, welcoming environment. We are currently seeking an experienced dental assistant to work closely with our owner, Dr. Abby Neville in a full-time role.
This position is ideal for a confident, skilled assistant who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment, values high quality patient care, and is comfortable supporting an owner/dentist chairside.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Anticipate the dentist’s needs and maintain efficient chairside workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms prior to patient appointments and break down rooms afterward
- Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and intraoral photos as needed
- Chart clinical notes accurately and update patient records in Dentrix
- Manage patient flow to ensure appointments run smoothly and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked treatment area
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols
- Assist with impressions and digital scanning, temporary restorations, and other clinical support tasks within scope
- On most Mondays and Wednesdays, assist Dr. Neville at our specialty practice, The Better Sleep Dentists, gaining hands-on experience in dental sleep medicine, TMJ splint therapy, oral appliance therapy, and dental laser procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum of 2+ years required)
- Experience working closely with a dentist in a clinical setting
- PA X-ray certification (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient centered approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with Dentrix preferred
