Job Overview
We are looking for a Gas Station Manager to manage 2 gas stations (1 mile apart), who is responsible for ensuring that the gas station, convenience store and car wash are operating at a high level. The Gas Station Manager will be responsible for managing the daily station operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety protocols. The Gas Station Manager needs to be able to lead, supervise, and motivate staff and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide work direction to staff during shifts to ensure station operations are covered including, but not limited to customer service, stocking, cleaning and food-service.
- Assist with product inventory management.
- Responsible for making employee schedules.
- Responsible for daily paperwork.
- Responsible for ordering and restocking items for the convenient store.
- Provide assistance/training to attendants as needed.
- Understand the importance of and ensure all station employees comply with company wage and hour requirements.
- Responsible for daily communication with owner/operator regarding any information pertinent to the operations of the stations, including sales numbers.
- Inform owner/operator of any issues or concerns that might affect the store' s customer service, safety records, profitability, or adherence to the Company's policies and procedures.
- Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers and vendors.
- Perform all duties of a gas station attendant, as needed.
Requirements
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand the company policies, safety training, and job instructions and to effectively communicate with customers and/or co-workers on work-related matters.
- Previous experience in a car wash or gas station environment, including cash handling and customer service experience.
- Demonstrated experience operating a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment, tools and computer software programs and applications.
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
