We’re looking for a technically oriented assistant to join our team working in a collaborative environment with lots of opportunities for personal growth. This position includes the direct support in the production of 3 primary electromechanical products used in the highest reliability electronics industries such as space flight, astronautical, automotive, and mobile device technologies. This position has the potential of leading to a technician role for the candidate demonstrating the initiative and ability to learn.
You will assist the assembly, repair depot, and shipping/receiving operations in setting up, operating, and maintaining the department workspaces, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with team to meet daily production quantity and quality requirements
- Unpack and log incoming electronic equipment / supplies
- Assist in part, sub-assembly, and equipment calibrations and inspections
- Assist with the packing, inspection, and shipping of equipment
- Support teams in completing required documentation
- Perform other duties as needed to support the engineering staff such as
- General housekeeping in the engineering workplace
- Equipment pickup and delivery
- Regular and preventive maintenance
*Compensation commensurate with experience
