Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Facilities Care Associate looking to perform essential maintenance & janitorial tasks to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will perform a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across our facility, supporting a clean, healthy and welcoming environment for staff and customers . Your proactive approach to facilities upkeep will help uphold our standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Hands on support keep the facility clean, safe, orderly and functioning smoothly.
- Maintain facility cleanliness in various common areas, hallways, entrances, storage units, rest rooms and other facility spaces
- Routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Ability to learn and utilize routine maintenance equipment and cleaning agents safely
- Responsible for quickly responding to spills and other immediate facility needs
- Keeping outdoor areas and entrances clean, safe and attractive for customers
- Monitor & assist in maintaining basic irrigation systems a plus
- Reporting maintenance problems or safety hazards
- Perform minor repairs, painting and general upkeep to ensure operational functionality
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Demonstrated "pride in ownership" for your roles & responsibility
- Proven dependability and ability to complete tasks in an efficienty & timely manner
- Proven mechanical, janitorial, porter or custodial experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning equipment operation
- Physical capability for manual labor and handling tasks including occational moderate lifting, bending, squating and prolonged standing or walking
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning or porter roles is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards team collaboration and visitor interactions
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and verbal communiations
- Previous facilities, janitorial, porter care experience would be helpful
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
