Our family law firm is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Part-Time Office Assistant to join our team. No legal experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Prepare, scan, file, and organize documents
- Assist with data entry and client intake
- Maintain electronic and paper files
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
- Friendly and compassionate demeanor, especially when working with clients experiencing difficult family situations
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Previous customer service or office experience
- Interest in the legal field
