Overview
We are seeking a HIGHLY skilled and motivated Senior Level HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. MUST be familiar with Daikin, Split Systems, Mini Splits, Wine Units etc. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians to leverage their mechanical expertise, technical knowledge, and field service skills to deliver top-tier HVAC solutions across diverse projects. As a senior technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing complex system issues, performing advanced equipment repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of property maintenance and client satisfaction while working on a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing components, and appliances.
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise system installation and repair.
- Conduct field service operations involving equipment repair, welding, mechanical adjustments, and system optimization to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all service activities, including detailed reports on repairs performed and system conditions.
- Collaborate with team members on property maintenance projects involving HVAC/R systems and mechanical infrastructure.
- Operate various tools and machinery safely in compliance with industry standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction environments with a strong background in HVAC/R systems.
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans; familiarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge covering plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding techniques, and equipment repair.
- Hands-on experience with field service operations across diverse settings such as commercial buildings or industrial facilities.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance procedures related to air conditioning units and other HVAC components.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively; experience with equipment repair is essential.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R codes and safety standards; valid driver’s license required for <PERSON> driver responsibilities if applicable.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems involving ammonia refrigeration or other specialized refrigerants is advantageous. Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
