As a Senior API Test Automation Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IV&V API test automation. You design, develop, and execute automated API tests to validate API functionality, performance, and security. Your work directly impacts on the user experience and the stability of our core systems. You collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure outstanding IV&V support.
- Leads and design and implementation of API test automation frameworks.

Develops and maintains automated test scripts using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, and SoapUI

Performs API testing, including functional, performance, and security testing

Integrates automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Git

Contributes to the development of test plans and test strategies

Mentors junior test automation engineers

Evaluates and recommends new testings tools and technologies

Ensures test coverage aligns with product requirements

Participates in code reviews and provides feedback and test ability.
- Expertise in API testing methodologies and best practices.

Strong understanding of JSON and XML data formats.

Proficiency in writing SQL queries.

Understanding of Swagger specifications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
-
5 year of experience in test automation
- 5 years of experience in API Testing
- Proven experience with REST Assured, Postman, Swagger, and SoapUI

Experience with Git products
-
Proficiency in one or two programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with JavaScript.

Experience testing microservices architectures.

Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
