Weekend Availability Required
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Serve all food and beverage in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to answer all questions in regard to food and beverage to ensure guests are properly educated and to promote the best possible bistro experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Greet guests; present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle payment transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent guest service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience as server in an upscale restaurant environment helpful
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Familiarity with bar service requirements
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient in conversational English
- Customer service-oriented with positive, friendly demeanor
