Position: Kid Talk Coordinator
Reports to: Prevention Coordinator
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred. Successful completion of sexual assault advocate training and Kidtalk warm line training
Skills and Knowledge:
Ø Excellent skills and knowledge in first response protocols
Ø Ability to be flexible and responsive
Ø Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Ø Demonstrated ability to provide support for victims and family members
Ø Ability to work in a team approach
Ø Ability to positively network in a service delivery system
Ø Proficient skills in Excel, Word, and software related to development of brochures
Job Related Duties:
1. Warmline Crisis Intervention
2. Ensure children of all ages are given information related to concerns of the call
3. Providing advocacy on behalf of the caller
4. Ensure grant reports are timely and accurate each month, quarterly and end of year for all funding sources in case management.
5. Recruiting volunteers to cover on call phone
6. Maintain clear and positive communication volunteers
7. Provide training for kidtalk.
8. Work in collaboration with all other staff when needed
Pay: $21.00 per hour
