GL Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Experience with pumps and forklifts is preferred but not required.
Monday - Friday from 7am until 3:30pm

Payrate depends of your experience is from $21 - $26

Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

Machine precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality production.

Perform drilling, milling, grinding, and other machining operations.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.

Perform routine machine maintenance and follow preventive maintenance procedures.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety regulations.

Complete production records and other assigned duties.

Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe and mill experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience holding tight tolerances.

Proficient with precision measuring tools, including:

Micrometers (inside and outside)

Dial bore gauges

Calipers
-
Strong math and problem-solving skills.

Heavy industrial manufacturing experience.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
