Are you an experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys leading a team? We're looking for a Lead Carpenter to oversee residential construction projects, mentor field crews, and help deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on carpentry and field leadership. You'll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, homeowners, and fellow team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Lead and supervise field carpenters and subcontractors on assigned projects

Assign daily tasks and ensure team members understand expectations

Support effective communication among crew members and project stakeholders

Mentor and develop less experienced carpenters

Perform both rough and finish carpentry to the highest standards

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation

Monitor project progress and communicate schedule concerns proactively

Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to complete scheduled work

Identify potential issues and collaborate with the Project Manager to develop solutions

Interact professionally with homeowners and clients throughout the project

Help maintain positive client relationships and company reputation

Communicate client feedback, concerns, and requests to the Project Manager or Owner

Promote and enforce job site safety standards

Ensure all work performed by employees and subcontractors meets quality expectations

Maintain accurate employee time records and project documentation

Help keep projects on schedule and aligned with project budgets

Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience

Strong skills in rough and finish carpentry

Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and safety practices
This position requires regular physical activity, including:
