Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct roof inspections to identify damage, leaks, or potential issues using schematics and blueprint reading skills.
- Perform roofing repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials to ensure long-lasting results.
- Assist in the installation of new roofing systems, including metal, asphalt shingles, tiles, or other materials as specified.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to determine necessary materials and labor for projects.
- Execute related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work to support roofing projects.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting safely on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working at heights or on scaffolding, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, roofing, or related trades with a focus on roofing systems.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment used in roofing and general construction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, and restoration is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to accurately assess project needs and execute repairs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
