Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Paralegal to provide dedicated support to one of the firm's Partners in our Houston office. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring at least 15 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who can manage cases from intake through resolution while maintaining exceptional client service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary paralegal supporting one Partner
- Conduct client intake and onboarding
- Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel
- Obtain, review, and organize medical records and billing records
- Prepare demand packages and settlement documentation
- Draft pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and case-related documents
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
- Manage case files from intake through settlement or trial
- Monitor deadlines and maintain case calendars
- Assist with settlement disbursements and closing files
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal experience required
- Prior law firm experience required
- Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury litigation
- Experience handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
