Cold line Team Members participate together to greet guests, take orders and prepare custard items while attending to the dining room and uphold Freddy’s standards of hospitality, quality and cleanliness.
All Freddy’s employees are responsible for treating guests with the highest level of respect and communicating with them in an energetic, friendly and cheerful manner.
- Welcome guests and take orders correctly, including drive-thru
- Receive payments and present change to customers
- Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
- Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
- Prepare custard items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Assume responsibility for quality of the products that is served
- Engage with guests and seek feedback
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room
- Follow proper washing, sanitation, hygiene and safety procedures
- Assemble and disassemble equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Exceptional service aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards/Able to multi task
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive attitude
- Consistent and reliable
- Willing to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and Holidays
- Works well independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work up to an 8-hour shift while standing or walking to perform essential functions
- Will be required to lift up to 50 pounds during the course of a workday
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure the safety of individuals and guest needs
- Operate all necessary kitchen equipment
- Adapt easily to changing temperatures in the restaurant
- Will require a full range of physical motion such as bending, reaching, occasional use of a ladder, etc.
